so i'm going to start my first grow as an outdoor grow with early misty from nirvana. I have this woodsy area that gets sunlight during the summer. All i can find is miracle grow soil around here and i heard that is bad soil. I was wondering if you guys could tell me if this soil is fertile enough to grow marijuana. Basically this area has been covered in leaves for decades and only a few thorn bushes are there. Can i use this soil to grow? If this soil isn't good enough is there anything i can use to help make it better soil?

well the plants won't get direct sunlight everyday but they will get maybe 5 to 6 hours of direct sunlight. I have been watching that spot for over a year and it gets the most sunlight out of all the areas.
I am ordering a soil ph test kit tomorrow on amazon

Well first try to test the soil's ph, you will want it around 6 to 6.5. If its above or below that buy something to fix it.If i was you i would start using a home made compost. Get a bunch of old grass and leaves lying around and put it in a large pile atleast a yard big. Its also good to throw unwanted fruit and veggies in here(especially the peels). Get some worms and put them in the soil where you want to plant, their poop is very nutritious for your babies. Water the soil with some molasses and keep turning the soil for a couple weeks before you plant there. If you do all that it should be a nice grow

edit: just saw the pic it doesnt look too bad. Whats usually the temperature around there? Take a shovel and remove any growing roots under there and large rocks. Keep me posted!
