Huge cola...long fat pistils..hardly any visible trichs..??

OK WELL MY INDICA DOMINANT PLANT (GOOD BUD BAG SEED) IS IN ITS FOURTH WK OF FLOWER AND THE COLA AND BUDS ARE GETTING TO BE PRETTY BIG NOW BUT THEY DONT SEEM TO HAVE MANY TRICHS...AT LEAST HARDLY ANY VISIBLE TO THE NAKED EYE...IM CURRENTLY USING -GREEN LIGHT -SUPER BLOOM-AND JUST RECENTLY STARTED ADDING MOLLASSES TO THE MIX HAVING READ THAT MOLLASSES CAN ADD TRICHS AND IMPROVE TASTE...DOES ANYONE KNOW OF ANY OTHER TRIED AND TRUE METHODS TO HELP MAKE BUDS MORE POTENT..???????

MY OTHER THREE PLANTS ARE DOING LOOKING PRETTY GOOD ON TRICHS AND SMELL..ETC..

must be a genetic mutation, if doesn't improve I'd chuck it if your hard pressed for space.

sometimes they might not look like much but just finish off the grow i mean you must have put some work into it sounds like the nutes you are using are good and if it all fails just sell it and start again with the cash you make selling the plants

try and smoke it once it is done you might be suprised ive been flowering 10 hashplants for the past 3 weeks and just starting to get signs of tri whist my last crop was ak47 and showed tri in the second week of flower

i have heard of a way of stressing the plant by leaving the lights off compleatley for the last 3 days of flowering and also not feeding 4 - 5 days prior to cutting down apparently it stresses the plant forcing it to produce more tri or thicker buds

Thanx to all ..... I dont think im gonna just chuck it.. I mean i did put some time into it ...maybe once its dried and cured ill be surprised...who knows...well i am gonna leave the light off for 24 hrs before harvest .....and the last feeding was the last time for nutes.....im hoping after i stop using them the smell will improve at least......thanx again...only time will tell.

there is no reason to give up on the plant. first, you are early in flower, crystals may show up later. second, many varieties of weed show no visible crystals but are loaded with microscopic trichomes.

if you;ve got good colas forming you will get good bud

Yeah, listen to desertrat. It took better than six weeks for any of my girls to really start showing those trichomes.

I have found that most Indica dominant strains dont show much trichs at all. Even at harvest. So dont panic and trash your babby! They usually have more cannabinoids and less THC then Sativa dominant strains. The THC is what glows and shines on the buds and give you the up rush and the cannabinoids are what causes the couchlock and the more medicinal high! My Bubba Kush glows with trichs and my Hindu Kush barely shows any. Go figure. Both are Kush and both are a great buzz but different!
