again, theyre not slapping names. theyre calling them what they are. whether or not youre happy with the names, doesnt concern most people.yeah, slapping popular names on any old strain is very catchy today, i'm sure they will sell well..
IMO their blue dream is a great balanced HEAAVY YIELDING strain. ive not grown out their OGK, but their chemdawg(chem#4) is a VERY potent smoke, but its very susceptible to mold and mildew in the later part of flowering.
the true clone only blue dream is far from being a well balanced strain.. it is definitely heavy on the sativa side of things, and there lies my problem.. if you put out a strain that is on the indica side of things, how can it be blue dream?
i completely understand where youre coming from. they have the same name as the clone only, but dont resemble the clone only because the phenotypes of the parents, even though theyre the right parents per say...doesnt create the same sativa heavy blue dream. but im positive i have seen what looked like full on haze plants, that the growers labeled the thread as "HSO blue dream" so those complete hazy fruity phenos ARE out there.
Mine too..odd. Big fan of their twreck and blue dream though. Have lemon Thai too. It just went in though
They're claim of the OG being fire x emerald is bullshit. I saw two different phenos grown and both have an obvious white widow look, smell, and taste to them. No OG traits at all.
Yes. I definitely recommend it. It is in its last few days right now and keeps getting better. Super frosty great smelling colas. I topped and lst'd with good results to achieve about 8 main tops. I will get a pre harvest shot this weekend. Better than a lot of strains I've grown. I also have their tw finishing as we speak and it is stellar as well. Big lemony colas of lime greens goodness. little better yield than bd. The og is filling out but still odd. When I break off a leaf and sniff, nothing too "og" about it which seems to be a trend among a lot of og's. hoping rug burn og will give me what I crave...
I just got done with their trainwreck did it 12/12. I am greatly suspicious of its genetics. The many times I have grown trainwreck their version has some characteristics that leave me to believe its somethingelse what could not tell you. One the indica traits are pronounced dominating the lineage. Two the smell growing it and after cure and smoke..it tastes peppery and smelled peppery. Three the actual hit was cerebral from the top of your head to the rear and it traveled to your body swiftly..trainwreck hits usually starts impacting your face starting at your ocular area then overwhelms your naugen. Four the calyx formation in HSO version is pronounced..trainwreck calxes Ive grown in the past are small almost absent and deformed looking with noted foxtailing trait. On the good side whatever that strain is its sticky, its frosty, and stoney.
As long as it turns out like this i will be more than satisfied with it lol
I have the blue dream going now at day 42 of flower. I guess I got lucky and got the sativa pheno. When I put it flower she stretched about 3 times her size. It took her about 4 weeks for her to stop stretching. She is in a recirculating undercurrent system with a 1000 w hps. BPN nutes. Even in veg she displayed sativa dominate characteristics. I waited too long to send her into the flower room and she outgrew my light and I had to pull her top down about week 4. Her stalk splintered in the process, but after a few days she was just fine. She is fairly frosty right now, but I think she will take 10 weeks or more in the flower room. She does not look to be in a hurry to finish any time soon. Kinda like my more hazey dominant chocolope I had growing. Smells faintly of blueberry doughnuts. If you touch the plant the smell stays on you.
