So from my knowlege of plants and marijuana, marijuana likes a dry non humid area, it helps with respiration or whatever. but people seem to be adding humidity to the air. basically wtf am i right to think this because im pretty sure i am and i want to see some evidence against me because i dont plan on changing.

anything above 44% when flowering wil cause mold bud rot = your whole grow is fucked not enough humidity and your plants will dry up "am i right to think this because im pretty sure i am and i want to see some evidence against me because i dont plan on changing. " no one gives a fuck wheter you change or not we will laugh at you when your shit goes to hell b/c your head strong do some more reading youll learn alot fast

I always keep the humidity below 30RH%. It is my understanding that it is ideal to keep it at 50%RH, however, to reiterate what moose88 said, you risk the chance of "bud rot" at high humidity levels. You may have good results at that level, but I wouldn't really know, I also don't really know what "Bud Rot"is like, because I've never had it. Weather it is due to humidity levels or wise preparation, I'll never know.. It will remain a mystery.......

your right sorry 50 is ok but i would never let it be that high during flowering go look up bud rot and see what causeed it promise it will be mostirue IE Humidity

whooops totaly miss read your post sorry bro your right keep levels down only time oyu want high humidity is really for cloning which requres warm moist aire for the roots to take as for vegging you can get away with like 60 percent but not continually

I dont want to sound narrow headed or whatever, im glad you saw what i meant though. yeah i dont have a percent to give you but i have a de humidifier set to slightly below normal humidity i was going to crank that shit up a little more. but if where i am at is where i should be ill leave it.

jsut feel the air does it feel weet or normal you can also cehk your humidty many ways put a cup and put some plastic wrap over it set it under lights and see how much water gathers on plastic you should be able to feel the air though it its muggy and wet way to hig if its dry air then but a bowl of water in there but unless your doing hydro or have a an ac unit blwoing in cool air you should be fine i mean my room is around 35- 40 % and have an ac unit blwing directly into my room and that air is verymoist but my light puts out so much heat that it dries the air .....

Hey guys I'm glad ya'lls done holding hands now! Thanx fer the data on humidity. I was kinda spun re:humidity under a root riot plastic box developed for rooting seeds, clones. I did 2 different things, one of which i now no was inappropriate. Even if the room is cold, brr , do not put heat dirrectly on your seedlings! They'll dry-up during the time yer backs turned. I started a new set(of the good seed) and hand planted a couple of bag seed. gez sometimes I absolutly hate bein' a Noob! The baked seed starts have not dies absolutely but bringin' back the dying isn't exacgtly easy...gotta baby sit and talk to 'em. i think my first fem'd started might recover, but I preety sure the two Power Skunks are toast.
first question. how tall or how long do I let my starts stay in the humidity box? When to transplant into the next larger container?

That is something I would like to know also. I am new to cloning and was woundering on how long should I leave them in high humidity before replanting?
