Nice Ram @BigHornBuds is that a Christensen Summit rifle? It's been quite a few years since I've been able to go hunting do to spine/leg problems. I did alot of archery back then. Just got my CHAMP permit so will try to get back out there again with some help.

I seen we have a fishing thread , but I don’t see one for hunting.

Please no anti stuff, or disrespect please

I love knowing the meat my family eats is organic , and I’m the butcher.

Nice animals there.. i'd rather hunt than:confused: well i love to hunt and enjoy the clean meat that i care for from shot to plate. I would hate to have to rely on store-bought meat, and i'd probably not be nearly as healthy or as incredibly sexy as i am now.:bigjoint:

Your the only person I’ve ever hear say they prefer caribou to moose.
I’ve never had caribou, but one day I really want to get a mtn bou in BC or YK

Thanks
I wanted a CHristensen rifle a while ago, when I looked into them I found I could design a better gun for the same $$$
I did use a Christensen Arms thumbhole stock, but that’s the only thing they share.

I wish you luck at finding a hunting buddy .

Yes , where I’m from it’s the law you have to eat the meat. Wild meat is very different from farm raised. Wild meat is very lean and hard to cook, but when you figure it out, it’s very very good. Big horn is my favorite wild game. But Not the same as lamb, everything has its own taste. Last yr I took a ewe too(7 year wait for the tag) and it’s so good. The only animal I’ve taken and didn’t care for the meat was a Rocky Mountain goat. Tuffest meat I’ve ever ate.
Even after it was ground it was still tuff n chewy.
