Hustler's First Grow - Octuplets

Hello and thank you for visiting my journal. This is my first grow and boy do I have questions for anyone willing to assist a newbie.

I finally took the pictures so here it goes

Started with seed from Amsterdam got 5 femenized seeds (Snow White) and five free mixed???? 10 seeds 8 plants. Unfortunately, I did not label them and do not know which is which. I know at least 3 are SW.

Started outdoors and then decided to go indoors. The plants are in 1 gal coco pots and the plants are in basement mix. They are watered via drip system with an eight line general garden supply manifold.

The plants were vegged under two 4 ft T8 2 bulb shop lights purchased from Walmart. Used 4 5K lummen tubes. Plants vegged for about 10-12 weeks.

I now have the plants in a 4x4x6.5 grow tent; 600W HID/HPS Cooltube with digital ballas, 20lb CO2 tank wiith a Titan regulator and a PPM tester up to 2,000, a PH tester. Since it has been so hot lately I added an 8K BTU portable air cond. unit

I have a temp therm with inside and outside temps and it also reads RH.

I have been keeping the room between 74 and 82 degrees and the RH between 40-60%

:hump:I have just confirmed that all 8 are girls!!!!

I am using A Bloom & B Bloom

The girls had a rough delivery, I nuked them with CO2 because I misread my digital timer went off at 4pm and was supposed to shut down at 4:08 pm but the down time was 4:08 a.m. :spew:

I trimmed all the damaged fan leaves and these pics were taken about 4 days later.

I can already see that my problem is space. The 8 plants are too close and I am not sure how to correct this problem.

I have been trimming the fan leaves regularly on the stalk so light can penetrate. Is this a proper thing to do?

I hope to meet new friends who love and share this hobby. I welcome constructive comment and hope to have someone who has done this for a while provide feedback from time to time.

Thanks for viewing, I will provide regular updates.

I just changed over to a bubbleponic system. I am using 5 gal buckets. I hope I did not FUBAR my first grow. I felt the plants were to confined and would benefit from having more room. 8 buckets with bubble stones, etc. It was too late to take pics to post.

I discovered that the portable a/c unit that I purchased is useless for CO2 enrichment. I have posted it on craigslist and hope to sell it during a heat wave or maybe even tomorrow. It appears that the unit needs both an intake and exhaust port. This only has an exhaust port. My CO2 gets sucked out as soon as the unit powers on. Not good. Oh well, hope the new watering arrangement works better. Plants seem to have more room to grow now.
