So I am starting to grow a white widow in a 5 Gal bubble bucket top drip. I dont undersatnd how the seed grows in rockwool and the roots hits the water in the bucket? Do I just leave the water dripped running from seed till the roots hit the water or do I just water the rockwool like soil when it drys? mabe someone can explain how to use this thing. BTW I'm not adding nute till 2nd week of veg and its going to be jungle juice grow-micro-bloom. let me know how to use this system please thanks.
P.S please dont tell me to read around on net. I've already done so and foundnothing thanks. If you can provide video if you can find one. Thanks

I dont do hydro so I cant comment on the bubble bucket but I have started clones and seeds in rockwool & can say that you dont want the rockwool to dry out.

I run my top feed 24/7.
I don't keep the rockwool wet once it's planted in hydrotron. I water AROUND the rockwool by hand for like 3-4 days (once or twice a day). the roots will spread out looking for water and get things off to a good start.
a good video on the basics of hydro is on youtube (there are several on there) called "I Grow Chronic"...it's a video broken up into like 10 minute segments. Not all encompassing, but a good place to start learning.
