Hydro Grow LED- BUYER BEWARE!

So I ordered a Hydro Grow Penetrator 84X Pro last Thursday for my veg room. I checked the order today and it was waiting to ship so I called. They guy told me it would be a month before I received it. I told him I wanted my money back and he tried upselling to a higher model. I told him I couldn't afford it and please cancel the order. Then I get an email that they refunded $479.20 instead of the $599 I paid. I acalled and they say this is a restocking fee. Even though it isn't even IN stock. I raised hell and the guy just says "the policy says blah blah blah. I tell him he is a crook and a liar and he just says sorry. At no time was I ever told that the light was not in stock until I called and he didn't even warn me about the $120 I was about to loose due to their idiocy. Anyway, fuck hydro grow. I would never support a company that does business like that. I don't care it would triple my fucking yeilds. Don't support these assholes!!!!!!

Thanks for the info sharing. Sorry about your experience with them, sounds like a shitty policy...how are you going to charge a restocking fee for something not even in stock? They probably had to order from the source and had to recoup shipping fees? I don't know either way they should have told you they werent in stock and allowed you to cancel your purchase with full refund. Don't they have a 100% money back guarantee? I'd file a complaint with your bank for the full amount.

Also call the BBB. If your bank cant help you they will. Will also make any info like this available to the greater public. With word of mouth being so widespread and fast paced these days it amazes me companies still try to pull this shit off.

We havepolicies in place on our site and it is the consumers responsibility to READthem. Now you are getting irate towards our company, towards myemployees, and threatening us simply because you failed to read our policiesbefore brashly deciding to cancel your order? I have spoken with Vinceand he told me he offered you a FREE upgrade to a 126X light, which is$100 more expensive than the model you ordered and covers a larger area. He also offered you a $100 discount on the 126X-PRO should you wish to upgradeto that light (both of which are in stock) and you decided against eitheroption. Now you want to call us crooks when we offered you a freeupgrade, gave you the option to upgrade even further for a discount, and onlywhen you decided against it we refunded you as per your request, according toour published policies that you failed to read? Had you waited for your84X-PRO regardless of the wait time (and our policies say it can take up to 3weeks to ship depending on if it's in stock or not), you could have returned itas per our 90-day return policy. Instead you chose to cancel of whichthere is a re-stocking fee, since we pay to produce your light regardless of ifits stocked or not. While I understand your frustration, you haveabsolutely no right nor bearing to bash our company online when we've doneeverything in our power to resolve this situation with you by means of anupgrade and/or discount. You still have the option to call in and changeyour order to another light, in which case the re-stocking fee you were chargedwould be re-applied to that purchase. We're not in business to takeanyone's money, we're simply not in business to lose business. We're inbusiness to sell and ship lights. If you want a light, let me know.

That is the spirit! Funny thing is I was considering a couple 336x pro lights if the 84x kicked ass but... I guess those pricks lost $3200 in future business if they are any good. You should have heard me ripping that guy. I try to be understanding but I lost my shit. Hopefully if people know they just won't support them. That would be worth $120 just knowing they can't get away with that shit in the future!

Call the CC company and tell them the company failed to provide the service and product you were paying for and you do not have their product. Money refunded and cash replaced in account. Thanks for sharing the letter from Cammie. I have to agree. Fuck these guys.

No, they offered me a more expensive light discounted. I would have had to pay $200 more for a light I didn't order or get the 126w for the same price. Neither were reasonable alternatives. Fucker was trying to save the sale then stuck me with the restock fee when I didn't agree. Didn't mention he would do that if I cancelled. Trust me, I try to be fair but this was bullshit.

how about dont buy from hydro grow unless you call ahead and confirm 5 times its in stock...or buy somewhere else...which is easier?

They offered a free "upgrade" to 126w not a free light. Read the email. It would still be $600 and it isn't what I ordered.

THERE HAS BEEN PEOPLE ON THE NET DENOUNCING THAT HGL CALLED THE COPS ON ADDRESSES/CUSTOMER THAT FOR SOME REASON REBELLED TO CERTAIN POLICY/ISSUES! (you can google this)
