First off let me say that this will be the second time doing this but I thought what the hell see what you guys say about this. So let it begin. Anyways what I am do g is using fabric pots and using a coir mixture with 50 per cent coir and 50 perlite. In also running the cyco nutrient cyco. I also heavily aerate the water that I am using. I also do a three light transition 200 watt cfl veg, then in bloom they go to 400 for a month then 600 with a 10 percent boo600for the last month both hips with umbrella hood. In also growing in a 5x5x11 gorilla grow tent.

So this is where you come in any advice any thing I should do different substitute etc.

assuming youre doing it a second time because it was awesome the first time?
I woudlnt change a damned thing if that was the case.

when I use my fabric pots they add humidity in the room with dirt grows
not sure why you holding back in the flowering cycle, I know they'd be happier
with the 600 from the get go, but if your expectations are met, congratulations !

Because they go through massive growth spurts when transitioned like that in my opinion. And tea it worked pretty damn well the first time. And that's why I always use coir rather then dirt.

Is the 400 using more blue spectrum or something?. Not knocking your choices, just unusual to see small step ups like that. If it's not for a more veg or balanced spectrum interested to know what other reason it benefits.

Blast em!
I normally run 600 watts in my 5X5 but recently added a couple of 400s just for the heat. Decided to go mixed spectrum, so the 600 is HPS (hortilux enhanced spectrum) and the 400s are MH (plantmax).
It's only been a few days, but I can already tell they are growing faster and look healthier.

I do like the idea but sadly as winter is upon us and winter hours. So that's another reason summer no problem. Lol but not atom.

You should hang the Mhs vertically rite on the ends of youre relfector.

I managed to squeeze them all in -- with reflectors!
I had two good options:
1) three 18" el-cheapo gull wing (400-600-400)
or
2) two nice sun system blockbuster hoods (600-600)

It may sound weird, but I actually prefer the cheap reflectors. Extremely lightweight and easy to maneuver around in tight spaces (like a tent).
