Holy shitballs! I pulled the plants out today and transplanted them into new 5gallon buckets filled with hydroton and 1/2" holes. The bottom half of oG had rotted due to being rootbound and #2 was fine, though markedly stunted in comparison with oG. I expect an explosion of growth within a few days. switching back to 24/7 to give them a little boost. Next res change they will be grubbin on some dutch masters Gold A+B Bloom, Superthrive, and Advanced Nutrients Tarantula.

Screen of Green installed, Buckets running nicely. Plants havent shown any type of growth between yesterday and today, but I expect the shock to last a few days.

Will post a few pics when I get home

Dropped the screen by about 6".

Hand weaving that jute twine in 5/32" holes in PVC was a bitch but it cost me a total of 2.39 for supplies. Regular twine was 2.50, jute was bargain bin at 69cents.

ARGH! I adjusted my plants so all bud tops were 1-2" above screen, and foliar sprayed them with 14oz of solution consisting of 30mL Penetrator, 30mL Liquid Light, 3 drops of SuperThrive.

I admit I was being headstrong again; I had sprayed the previous day with the same mix of solution. The morning after, there was a little improvement in #2, so I decided I would adjust the screen again, and to give the roots some more time to grow, I decided to give a second foliar feeding.

Now, oG is limp, wilted, and curled in somewhat like getting too much water. On Monday I had changed the nutrient solution over to Dutch Masters Gold A+B. I gave each plant a 5liter plain water flush but would water stress from that show 2 days later? It looks really pathetic. Im going to be upset if it just dies without a fight, this plant has been through a lot.

I have read various posts about someone using penetrator and experience a weeping for an overnight period of so, but the plants looked like shit at 2pm. I dont check the plants in the mornings because I can check during lunch, and the timer is set appropriately. I sprayed them at 8pm, lights are out at 1am. 5 hours for the spray, soak, and sun. I also used a fan, blowing directly on the plants all night like a dumbass which appears to have given my plants pneumonia.

Not good luck lately with the herb.

Nevermind on previous post.

RULE: Do not overuse Penetrator. Its results will scare the piss out of you. 2x a week, say monday and thursday for me since I change res on sunday.

Plants are back to normal droopwise, however, #2 is still puny. Soon as the revive comes in I hope results will begin to show.

I am now using Dutch Master Gold Grow A+B, Penetrator Gold, Liquid Light, and Flower A+B, with SuperThrive, for all operations. =) I really like DM products so far, though I think ill go 1/2 strength at first.

Harvested oG March 5 and as it has been drying im getting a sense of how much of a reduction there is. Really, the amount looks nearly pitiful compared to how swollen and hard the buds were while living. #2 has plumped up quite a bit. I harvested oG earlier than I intended because she started developing root problems when my pump turned off again. I was supposed to have my magnifier by now but it was shipped from hong kong (I try to buy as close to local as possible and overlooked this -- I dont like voluntarily giving money to the mainland Chinese; they already have us by the balls.) I figured oG looked big enough to have a decent harvest minus 60% but I didnt quite realize in my imagination what 60% would look like. Ive been growing 2 plants so I estimated I would get 1 plants worth of bud.

Well this gives me a good idea. A small bud ( < Dime ) fell off when I was hanging up to dry, so I sat it aside on my computer desk, to test later. It has been about three days and that little nug was crispy so i decided to toke it up. Tasted like crap (not dried properly) and being it was a popcorn nug, had more of the little leaf in it than bud so ill attribute it to that. However, even though it was a really small amount, I do believe I can feel the thc since right now I am baseline.

#2 still has a lot of white hairs, and has FAR surpassed oG in size, roots, buds, etc. On the flip side, the buds are more light and airy. I dont know what to expect for harvest. I am going to let this one go as far as I can let it, as I should have my loupe soon. In looking at oG mini-bud before I smoked it, the trics were still clear, when I had thought they were amber, totally missing the cloudy part. (using human eyeball, you know, and comparing the color and composition of oG to #2 had the very different change so I thought it was ready. The tops of the buds were a dark olive drab green/grey color and the main bodies of the buds were a dark gold/brown.
