Hydroponics build under current.

I was considering building my own current culture system. But figured I would ask the pros. I noticed that there is no single row system. I only have a 5x10ft flower room 2000w hps. Regardless I will post the picture of a very rough draft on the system I am thinking about building I think I may have to raise the pipe that has no containers on it to the water level. There has to be a reason current culture doesn't offer a single row unit. Any info would help.

My advice would be go with PP tubes like these:

You have elbows in different positions, different lengths, they are easy cuttable with saw.
I can build a 4 row system, about 0.8 x 1.4m of grow space (actual system is about 0.8 x 1.7m) for about 70€ + one high flow water pump 1200-3000L/h plus reservoir.

The system is easy to clean and because they are like legos can custom fit it easy in needed dimensions.
And every about 20cm i drill a hole and put a seedling that has rooted in rockwool and is in netpot.

At the end of the "snake" you have to build a dam that means a small peace that you weld or glue a part of plastic so it acts as a dam, when you want to clean the system you just turn around that little tube (the dam) and the system is empty...

So to recap 4 rows about 1.4m (1.7m with all elbows) and they are apart about 16 cm so each plant has plenty of room but if you wish you can drills holes closer.

P.S. PP plastic is the best plastic in the world because its the most inert of all plastics (Taperware uses PP plastic) and all food grade plastics are usally from PP

I'm thinking one row of four and instead of having the other side have four buckets like the current culture just streight pipe it. I will use the pipe you insisted.

I'm not sure if that will work what I have in the picture or not. I can't find any single row 8 to 13 ga pots hydroponic system to get an idea.

I contacted current culture they said it's a special order thing. And it takes them a little longer to build it. But it would be roughly the same price. I know i can make the system a single row with out having to have the dropper rings. I'm stuck don't wanna spend all the money and find out i messed it up.

So I wanna take this already proven system and cut it down to one row and only have four streight pots and a res.

I dont have the room for the other four. And I don't want a drip style system... something tells me I will end up buying it from current culture if i dont get some feed back. So easy to sink money into grow rooms.

Boom throwing 2 inch valve on side with out pots I can close it or open it to adjust the water flow and make it right. Build comming soon.

I don't think your design will work very well. The pump will be pulling water from both sides and the side with no buckets will have less resistance and therefore will pull more water. So you wont get much if any current through your buckets. If you want a single row PULL system then redesign the water flow so that you are pulling the water from either the back bucket or the front bucket or from between buckets 2 and 3 with 2 seperate feeds.
With your added valve you will have to close that valve down but honestly you may as well eliminate that side to get the same results.
