Hydroponics, first grow, learning process

why cant i see any pics???

oh... never mind, i missed the first page...

Alright guys its been a little bit but i've been busy. So all 4 of my seeds have gotten their heads out of the rockwool. The one is being sort of a problem child somehow my one seeds actually made two sprouts. I spread apart the rockwool a little bit and it seems that the root system actually did a 180 and came up too. It became a little two headed dragon. I got rid of the sickly looking sprout so i'm hoping that helps the other half play catch up.

In other news i finally got some time to buy some more effective vegging lights. I bought some 6000K 26 watt CFL's which i'm sure the plants will enjoy, all i had were the 65 watt soft white, which i know is much better for flowering (shame on me).

I'll take some pics later tonight cuz i know thats what everyone really wants. Back to studying chemistry.

Alright so its officially been 1 week since planting and i'm very excited about the results so far. The fourth one isn't doing so hot. Like i said it got all retarded and tried to break the surface from both ends. Its still alive so we'll see how the little guy turns out. Two of my plants are startin to grow their second set of leaves.

As of tuesday i put in 1/8th of the recommended big grow foxfarm nutes. They seem to be doing great so maybe in a week i'll bump them up a little more. I definitely don't wanna over do things and find them all burnt to shit.
