I have 2 - HLG-480H-C2100A .. how many of these can i run?...

I am looking at DIY with the samsung quantum QB288 boards... I would like to run 6 of them but i am curious if these 2 drivers can handle that or more / less? Also I will want to add some additional LED chips for different NM ranges (660, 740, 840) I would obviously run these with a different driver, but could you also help me pick out a driver for those? I already have the 2 C2100A's ordered.

Thanks guys, this forum rocks.

those drivers should handle 3 boards each in series. The 288 is a 54v board, and the driver will handle up to 229v. 54*2.1a=~ 110w each.

You can run 4 288s in series on that driver.

okay and if i have 6 total PCB's i can use 4 on the one and then would i be able to use the other driver for the remaining two? What about the additional single LED's?

You could add in up to ~120 more volts of whatever. They will be driven of course at 2.1a. cobs would work such as Vero 29/ citizen 1818+ so on.

Do you mean i can add up to 120 more volts on driver 1 (that would have 4 PCB's on it) or do you mean driver 2 which would have the additional 2 PCB's?

If I do not want to put any additional leds on driver #2 would it still work and how much wattage would it power the 2 pcb's at? I don't want to run the 2 pcb's and leds of a different spectrum on the same driver in case I want to turn off the leds (far reds, ir, etc)

It would run them at about 120 watts each
