I have a very complex question..

I had a plant indoors over the winter vegging with light 24 hours a day. When it came mid to late May the plant was about 4-5 ft tall and I moved it outside and it started flowering, I began to worry because I thought the plant would just reveg because of how long the days are in May and early June but it is still budding very much and it is a few days away from July. I am in upstate NY so the days are beginning to get shorter soon so my question is will my plant make it and I could have a mid to late July harvest or is there still a possibility of the plant to reveg at this point?

Why would it reveg I don't understand? Aren't the nights long enough already and wil continue being long nights? Kinda lost me half way through your question.

Maybe. Maybe not. Days are still about as long as they were last week at the start of summer. But vegging on a 24/0 schedule will make plants flower when put out in natural light hours unless it is gradually reduced to match outdoor hours of sun.

If it does start to reveg, you can cover it in late afternoon until after good dark to make sure the night is long enough to continue in flower. Good luck.

I have a similar situation except I was vegging some at maybe 18 hours from seed in my tent and I put them out early may when they were about 18-20" tall, now they are 5'8" and all now just starting to show hairs with 15+ hours of daylight. This is my first outdoor grow. But the odd part is they started the first per-flower the exact same day we started to decline in daylight and they been outside for 2 months now here in MA.

Mine have showed preflowers also but arent flowering i almost tossed lol you should be good

Thanks, yeah, I been letting it go and its adapting and not fully budding yet here also. I guess it was tricked out for a while as the Sandhill Larry mentioned above. Its about 6 feet now, I am afraid it may start sticking out and be noticed soon, especially with another month to go in veg. before it slows down during flowering.

Flowering plants double most of the time so be wary of that
