i took 4 clone of my bbc's about 2 days ago and when i checked on them yesterday i found that 1 of them was reallly droopy and lifeless!

i took 2 clones of each mother and her sister is doing fine.
i intially had them under a halogen lamp (one of them small desktop 1z) but since i have put them under the shade of the mothers.

i thought i may hav misted too much so i didnt mist that 1 yesterday but ther is no change 2day, it still looks the same!!
so now im stumped as to what i should do...plz help +rep for all helpful answers.

have you got clones to root like this before? kinda big clones, but that is not the problem, but you do need a dome over them , what is in the cup? is it wet? did you make a clean cut? did you expose to the air for to long before dipping in root gel or power?

yes i have...in the group picture the 1st 3 from left to right wer cloned in this way (the 1st one is not quite ther yet but i am using the other 2 as mothers), the only difference was that i put them 1s staright in to pots not cups after cutting.

i kno wat u mean about them being big bro but i do it in purpose because im not very confident when it comes to cloning...so i jus pick the biggest best lookin branch and cut it jus above a node... i make a diagonal cut then take of bottom leaves at the same time scrapin a bit of the skin off as i do
now i make a hole in my soil with a pen and insert...and finally i mist and cross my fingaz!!!

i have soil in the cups at the moment, i dont really know what kind it is... i had to buy it in a rush because the hydro shop is pretty far...i started my grow with something called... black gold... i think?!?
also i hav neva used any kind of rooting gel at all so it cant be that...

thanx alot for the quick reply bro... i hope u can help...or any1 els 4 that matter

when you cut a clone the gel keeps it from being exposed to the air and help root. i would say it was exposed to air for to long, but you should look in to gel and a dome. a dome at lowes $4 and gel $7 how can you go wrong that cheap. the big gel is more like the one in the pic, a few vi on cloning

you dont need to use rooting gel, just make the cut right and with a sterile blade and put in the some dirt. humidity helps, but ive seen too much kill peoples clones. some of your clones look like small healthy plants, i think most of them should root

I would never try growing clones without the cloning solution. And id use the powder cloner. Im using Green Light Rooting Hormone. All my clones live, but im witing to grow them, so i keep them under 18/6 light till i veg them seriously. They are three weeks old and growing slowly. I have roots sticking out the sides and bottom.

why are you flipping off your plants?
what does that mean!!!!

and i have 3 propagators all ready lads but everytym i tried them it just wouldnt work...in the begginning i took 19 clones split between 2 propagators and only 1 survived!

i hav since been using thge befor mentiond technique and its not the best way but i find that by not using any cloning gel or dome i will ko that the 1z that do root will be very tolerent plants.
this is just a theory i have so if im wrong pleas correct me.

i also found that keeping them next to the mother makes the plants LOOK happier...or am i jus stoned!!
