Cool. I'll be sure to give them a read.:eyesmoke: Thanks for the help CG
Anytime Brotha'..Anytime.

Keep in touch and let me know if your going Lucas or not.

If you wanna see my updates, cmon over to my thread.

I dumped out the fox farm nutes out of my vegging bubblers, and used the gh micro and bloom, and like 4 days later, the Growth is so much better.

Seriously.. LUCAS ROCKS!

I got those GH nutes dialed in now. I've been going by the nute calculator on the GH website and it's way off. If I measure everything out for 5 gallons it's not even close to what the website suggests. They say it should be 1080 but it's like 1600 ppm. So instead I'm basing everything on a 3 gallon mix but I'm still using 5 gallons and it comes out perfect right on the money 1080 ppm. I'm so glad I got that figured out. The first pic is in milliliters and the second one is in ounces using distilled water at 0 ppm.

I know this don't help others with larger reservoirs but it just goes to show how you can play with the numbers a bit to get your desired results. Those two charts should be the only charts I'll ever need to go by from now on.

Peace:eyesmoke:

I am doing my first grow, so please be kind if I end up being wrong. I'm using a nute chart that was developed by someone with some time growing. I have used this chart all the way to week 3 of flowering , and my plants are fine. I am using Holland Secret nutes but I dont know if that makes a difference. I just changed into week 3 nutes with pps ranging from 1540 - 1680. If the ladies do not like it they are hiding it well. I hope this may help.

Yeah, I'm not familiar with that line of nutes. This thread is for using General Hydroponics line of nutes. Your chart is fine as long you are getting good results. If it aint broke, don't fix it.

i agree for my last res change in five gallons I came up high with ppms. Actually first I was low then I was way high. I will try your system tomorow when I res change. I never had one prob and better growth tho than I ever had so far this last veg period. Not one burn I thot i was invincible for a while. Now I am on top of my one prob, keeping the buckets filled. Lol, top offs are annoying. But now I got a garden hose in my grow room and I just turn her on! Cake.

But seriously the calcualtor is a cool thing still, even it was a little off. I still swear by it basically. I do however advise two weeks of transistion for a sativa or long flowering indica as the extra nitrogen is needed later.

I agree, the nute calculator is a handy guide. I'm just afraid of nute burn and with the results I get using their calculations it just scares me. Yeah check it out and let me know your results.
