i need help with lighting?

ok if i buy this am i gonna need a ballast or can i just get a 250w hps bulb hook it up and im done. let me know thx.

I don't like those hoods at all I had one and my plants stretched like a mofo cause of the heat I had to keep raising. Get an air cooled hood you might have to spend a little more money but if you wanna do it right that's the way to go. And for your question yes you will need a ballast with hood, Look into getting a complete kit with bulb and ballast and air cooled hood. There all over the internet.
