OK guys so this is my first grow and I have 2 white widows that I was just about to switch to flower but I've noticed some leaves having some issues. I just transplanted last Thursday into final pots. Fox farm ocean forest and other is in happy frog. They have looked so good to until now. Have been under 400 watt mh and I just switch to 400 hps Saturday. The one with the worst problem is 7 weeks old today. Temps are mid 70s with light on and mid 60s with it off. Been watering when pots get light with distilled water with cal mag every watering. Been using grow big and big bloom every other watering slowly adding more. I noticed the spots yesterday and watered with 7.5 ml of cal mag and 11ml big bloom in a gallon. Do you guys think I need to flush?? Could I have build up in my soil? I started using nutes about 3 1/2 or 4 weeks old. Any advice on what to do to help me save these plants would be greatly appreciated.

How's the humidity? When you water do you water till you have a run off, and do you pH your water and feeds? That twist in the leaves means a pH issue in my garden. I'm in CoCo.

Yeah I always ph everything to 6.5. I think I wasn't letting enough run off. So I just ran a gallon of 7.0 tap water thru to flush it out. Now instead of my soil ph being at 6.5 like it was it is at 5.5. What Do I need to do to raise it? I don't have any lime or anything. Did I maybe just wash to much stuff out of the soil and that caused it to lower like that?

If you were going for a flush, Just give it 1/4 strength food pH'ed @ 6.5 and see how she responds. Don't start throwing different stuff at her, that's when you get a real issue. What ever issue you have you caught early.

OK all I've done is run a couple gallons thru her. The last gallon I didn't have any nutes in at all. But runoff the first time was like 1600 and now it's like 800 ppm. So I guess its workin..
You think I need to run more thru that has 1/4 strength nutes? Or just leave her like she is?

Distilled water may be the issue. It tends to have a stronger negative charge at the oxygen end of the molecule. This means when you add nutrients or salts, positively charged, a bond is formed. You know the opposites attract law. Binding useful elements so they are not readily accessible to the plant. I have long been against using distilled water in container grows.

Do not rely on runoff pH as an indicator of the mediums pH. You will only cause yourself grief in the end.

Yeah I have a soil meter. And I think I will try to start using my tap water. I just flushed it pretty good earlier so hopefully that will help. My 2nd one has one fan leaf and it's at the very top and it looks the same as the mag deficiency. But it has me confused with only being just that one and it's at the very top. Nothing looks bad on the bottom.. I think next time I water that one I'm kind of gonna do a mini flush. Cause I've been doing it the same as the other one so I wanna get ahead of it. But what could cause just that one leaf at the very top to look just like the mag deficiency on my other plant

One other thing that comes to mind is the FF soil. There was a day when their products were consistent. Those days are long gone. Quality control no longer seems to matter with them. Nowadays it's about production to keep up with demand. You may have some subpar medium.

Seems like its possibly getting worse.. I'm not sure what to do. The leaves that were affected by it I think are getting worse.. Cause this first picture it was definitely not like that bad last night.. Maybe noticed a couple new leaves with little spots..

Mobile deficiency issues start at the bottom and go up. Damaged leaves won't improve. Keep your eye on the leaves above the damage. Remove the real fucked up leaves, staring at those only makes you worry.
Yeah I knew they wouldn't improve but was hoping they wouldn't get worse lol its pretty much got ahold of all my fan leaves. Granted some are worse than others but there's a sign of it on all if them. They looked so good and I topped them and switched to hps light and next day it was terrible.. But my other plant it has some signs of it but it's the very very top growth. No signs anywhere else on the plant. Doesnt make sense to me..
