'I told them the truth': Worker says job offer taken away over medical cannabis prescription

"Employers are better off establishing a cutoff level for how much THC can be present in a worker's body."

Please explain how people who have no CLUE about cannabis set a cutoff level for THC? Based on what exactly? I'm willing to bet it's an arbitrary number which doesn't prove impairment, 2ng for example......... Then you end up with a ton of people failing all because you pulled a number out your ass and fail to realize that second hand cannabis inhalation would put you over 2ng

the day I got my mmar paperwork I informed my customers...of my intention to use cannabis as medicine...
not one of them had a problem with it.
I'm self employed doing engineering design and seeing how I have worked from home for the last 18 years...
using cannabis as medicine, has had no ill effect on anyone associated with my work....
and those that I invoice for my work, have always been happy to pay me for what I can do.
In some respects.... cannabis has allowed me some insight and some creativity, that has def given me an edge, over my competition... in my area of expertise.

I am always surprised, when I hear cases like this...I think buddy did the right thing being honest with his potential employers...even though it did not work out for him this time...all in all I bet it will be the potential employers loss...
This guy can probably mill wright his way around any 3 other guys in his area....plus he is honest...
