I want your General Hydroponics Flora 3-part series feeding schedule in Coco!!

Grow book i own says 30 ppm magnesium in veg and flower. Since flora bloom has the most magnesium, i think it makes sense to use the cal mag during veg mainly.

I'm on my 3rd run in coco, 2nd time using GH nutes. I also use the 'Lucas Forumla', modified for coco (H3ad's coco recipe), which is 6ml GH floraMicro / 9ml GH floraBloom, for the whole grow. The first week that I feed them nutrients, I give them 3ml micro/4.5ml bloom (so 50%). Also, because I use RO water, I also use GH CaliMagic, 5 to 7ml/gal...depending on if I see a slight calcium def. developing. Other additives I use include epsom salts (for mg. def's), H&G Drip Clean, Hygrozyme, and Koolbloom in late flowering.

I like this thread.. Hopefully someone is still interested in this or has some results using the GH line for coco... I'm about to try it out for my first coco grow. It's pretty much the cheapest stuff you can find that actually works well (as far as my dwc goes)...

So far I see people going by this

6ml per gal : Flora Micro
9ml per gal : Flora Bloom
3ml per gal : cal-mag (on a need to use basis... I would imagine using this every other feeding would be safe?)
1 tsp per gal : Kool bloom powder (only used during the last 5 weeks of flower.. Add to res two days before res change ?)

I see some of you saying you use silica too but don't see how much is used per gallon...
I am curious to know if there are anyone is using any supplement to help the plant intake nutes? I would say some organic microbe but the salt based GH nutes would just kill the bacteria.. What else could be used? Or does anything else need to be used?

Also, I have read good things about the Humboldts Gravity and purple maxx... People swear by Gravity making denser buds and Purple maxx packs on Trichs (can initiate purple if strain is genetically capable.)
But using General hydroponics nutrients, would it be safe to use the gravity and purple maxx in the same res? Or would I just have to foliar feed?

6/9 is for flowering, no matter what idiot said use it for veg its just a imbalanced npk for veg and wasteful. If you ask 8 people what dose to use per gallon of calmag or calimagic you will get about 7 different answers. All i know is ive had explosive growth at the higher levels of ppm around 600-800 usually around wk 3 veg and I used 0 calmag. I just like to add the calimagic early in first couple weeks when ppm's are lower, and maybe just a little 1ml or 1.5 per gal at 600-800ppm..

And in flower ive added epsom with a lowered lucas formula and never had a deficiency.. always use very low amounts of epsom, your ppms get around 800-900 theres a ton of cal and mg in the water..

ppm's i use are .5 scale fyi.

I'm interested to hear about this Gravity and Purple Maxx stuff. Right now I am using Cal/Mag and GMB, but I'm trying to pick up on some good nutes to make the most of my smallish grow space.

:peace:

Old posts some time the most relevant ones! In veg using tap water with a EC of 0.4, i feed half sttength of whats on the bottle for a ppm of around 500 first 3 wks & up to 700 4/7wks from seed.
I run h3ads formula with Epsom once per week and everything is bless!!

Ok thats what I figured since most people have told me GH burns at strengths on the bottle, just wanted to clarify. I dont think Ill ever go over half of what they recommend unless my girls are telling me they need it.
the strengths on the bottle only come out to less then 1000ppm. there perfect. 5-7ml grow, 5 to 7 micro, 3-4ml flower. per gallon for veg. 15 flower, 10 micro, 5ml for grow for flower.

I have been running G.H. 6/9 alongside 1ml per gallon of Zeuss Juice for a humic acid source, 4ml per gallon The Kraken for chitosan, 4ml per gallon Demeters Destiny for Cal/Mag, 5 ml per gallon fish sh!t microbial innoculant, 3ml per gallon Aphrodites Extraction for a carb/sweetner and .4 ml per gallon Drip Clean....ppm 1300 to 1400 ppm with R.O. water PH'd to 6.0. Results have been very good
