Has anyone ever thought of using an ice fishing shanty as a grow tent im thinking it may be an option during the off season

its a shed with a hole in the floor, don't see why you couldn't, i'd think about one big plant actually growing in the ground through the fishin hole

Mine is a portable one made of plastic and folds up for storage made of tarp like material

well, that won't be very secure, especially since they can tip it over and theres a pre made hole. and i doubt it'll contain smells very well. if you aren't worried about a. someone stealing your stuff, and b. getting caught by the cops, then it ought to work just fine.
