Idea on how to Veg/Flower at same time, would it work ?

Sup people !

I only have 1 small space to grow, so just a single tent. Now would it work to have plants Vegging, whilst others flower on the condition that I remove the flowering plants for 12 hours a day, and put them somewhere dark and hopefully smell proof? This would be annoying, but its the only way I can think that might allow me to do both...any ideas peeps ?

Cheers in advance :)

Youre looking at two different light spectrums NEEDED for both stages.
At most you can set baby plants or clones in a corner somewhere of the flowering light but i would trick your plants like that.
Why not just grow one at a time and go all out with what space you have?
Theres huge advantages to a small grow space you dont have in large spaces.

Yes in theory, it would have to be pitch black for 12 hours. But you would need air circulating, smell removing, air exchange to keep down RH or you could run into a bunch of issues which would ruin your flowering plants. To be smell proof without using a filter and fans to run it, you would have to be air tight, which is a problem.
A better plan would be to keep some clones under a relatively low wattage in a cupboard or something.
Or grow Autos, then you can keep them all on the same light schedule and just add a plant every 3 weeks or whatever.

Probably should have mentioned but I'm using full spec LED's so only realy those needed for what I'm doing.

Hmm, that could work. What would a cheap light be that could keep a clone going for 4-8 weeks without having them get too big...then I could finish up flower, and just put clones straight into a new pot and I'm already a few weeks ahead. also, would having them in the LED area for 12 hours per day, and then the ligher ones mess with it at all or benefit ?

Swapping and changing them around from say LED to CMH or HPS to LED makes them look sad for a while, shocks them somewhat, that's based on me vegging under CMH and flowering under Cobs. They bounce back quickly but doing that every day would have a negative effect on growth i would of thought.

I have kept clones under a 20-30 CFL for 4-6 weeks quite a few times, even longer once. They will stay alive and tick over and stay small. They will explode in growth once put under a strong light and potted up. Its probably not ideal but better than your first idea.
