Ideal root temperature in soil grows

This Thread is for the discussion of the ideal root temperature in soil grows I'll be doing research later tonight but I hypothesize that a slightly warmer root temperature during germination in seedling stage is beneficial based on the fact that most seedling mats are around 82 degrees Fahrenheit. With enough research and responses I'll be able to do a write-up on what is the most effective root temperature for the different stages of growth and whether or not water temperature when watering has in effect and if so what is the optimal water temperature

Personal experience is not a source

Why would personal experience not be a relevant source? Not that I have any, just curious. I would think that would be a great source for your research.

A side by side experiment would be acceptable but the results would need to be repeatable. Scientific papers would be preferred

Doubt you'll get a whole lot re soil temps as it's a pretty complicated thing to control, hydro yes. Good luck though .

No sorry lol, I'm outdoors in soil and hydro indoors and I run 66 water temp . Let me know when you get the closed chiller loop buried in the soil to run some tests, I'm curious .
