Isn' it true bigger roots bigger fruits? I figure (4) 7 gal pots would work nice in a 4x4 or 5x5 if i veg a little longer?
Yes BUT, like said above. You can learn to do some really amazing things with smaller containers!

It's all in the feeding, How often, and how much is the key. Once you can deliver to the plant what it "needs" to it's size...in any pot. Your getting ahead of the game and not growing like a newbie anymore.

However, you bet there is limitations to final yields and pot size! Getting 6 zips from a 3 is not that hard - down the road. Strain selection is a variable. I mean your not going to do it with something like a Cookies or Blue Cheese....
You can even do a bit better then dbl.....That's riding the razor's edge..... I don't "shoot" for that result. Just something I did when experimenting to see just what I could do with a #3 pot yield wise....Been doing this a long, long time...

Here is 2 plants in #3's (the 2 front plants). These produced 374 grams total, between them....just where I like to be....a tic over dbl the zip per pot size "rule."

One of the mains - right before harvest...Day of.... Strain is an un-named strain given me by a soldier who got them from a "hash maker" in Iraq...

I have used smart pots for about a yr now
I’m done with them, the advantages do not out weigh the disadvantages.
I like the worrier pots and want to try them,
But right now I’m switching to Hercules or root master pots. So far very happy with them.

Thank you all for your contribution to my thread... I changed it up a bit and so far this is where I am at. I got a sun hut 4x4. I think it may be more like 4.5x4.5 tho. Also got a hurricane 6" inline fan and a phresh filter for it along with ducting 25'... I just noticed that the hurricane said not to use with a speed controller but I know a few who have done it with that fan so I'm at a loss... should I return it or get a controller for this one? I plan to get led or cmh when taxs come through... also thinking I may do coco again... decisions decisions lol. Any ideas on current tech led or chm welcome. As far as the led I would like to keep it 800 or less and be enough for a 5x5 space. Pulling a TRUE 600+ watts from the wall. Also no gay purple ones. I have run filter before and I believe the hurricane to be quality as well as the tent.. Not my old gorilla I'm sure but quality. thanks in advance guys:bigjoint::bigjoint:
