my grandfather was a total piece of shit, used to beat my mom when she was a kid, and all my uncles and aunts, also beat my grandma (she was the sweeeeetest lady)
anyways, he got dementia real bad the last 8 yrs, and that was the NICEST he ever was, not even close...
almost like he forgot that he was a total asshole....

Kind of hints at the possibility of being able to cure violent personality disorders (or whatever was wrong with him before the dementia) some day. The whole story is heartbreakingly sad though.

Honestly if he's assassinated it would rehabilitate his image to martyr status, and that's a future full of implications I don't want to contemplate.
Better he remains alive to be discredited and impeached. South Korea can imprison their leaders on suspicion of malfeasance, it seems to be beyond even America's mighty powers to do the same. This is one time I'd really like to be wrong as fuck.
I'd take choking to death on well done steak with ketchup as a second choice.
