i will be getting some light s in and opening a grow light online store if i can drive the manufacturer s down on price , although if you break each light down into its parts a 6x cob cxb3590 light would cost about $550 to make diy etc

Not sure what your dimensions are but for a grand you could order from kingbrite to cover a 4x4 or ideally 3x3 space

12 cxb3590
12 cob holders
12 reflectors
12 passive heatsinks drilled and tapped for cob mounting and mounting to an aluminium rails
3 HLG 185h c1400 meanwell dimmable drivers
Thermal tape
Wires and screws

Then source some aluminium extrusion locally. That will give you basically what various advertisers here are selling but a bit more bang for your buck.

Only problem is sending a few grand away to China and praying it arrives. Made my first order today. Fingers crossed!

personally when i went to price things out for diy with shipping from china and such.. it becomes very comparable imo.. especially in that you dont have to tap the heat sinks and all that, maybe you will pay 50-100 bucks more but I think its worth it to just be able to snap it togehter and not worry about shipping from overseas and such... sht takes forever whenever I have done it. I am twiddleing my thumbs waiting for growmau5 new video.

Yeah I didn't factor in shipping, PayPal fees or possible customs charges I suppose. Which can add a fair whack

Kingbrite are reliable, not seen anyone complain yet. Delivery doesn't take long usually by fedex or dhl but you will get taxed from customs.

Cutter.au are just as competitive and so is northern grow lights last I checked.
If I were in the USA I would by from the guys on here rather than kingbrite and save on tax or import duties.
Its an extra 20% for me from anywhere non EU

I was trying to buy from cutter to begin with but communication was really slow and I'm impatient and on a schedule. But I guess he's busy
