illegal to odrder seeds?

Someone told me i am an idiot if i order seeds from a company? They said they would track my debit card and stuff? Should i have it ship somewhere else? anyone with a good place they get seeds? I want to make sure if i spend the money for feminised seeds they will be worth it!!!!! HELP!

Listen, according to the law, under the Magna Carta act revised in 1961 in New York, Seeds are not considered to be illegal and therefore not considered contraban in international shipping.
HOWEVER, the patriot act, that was recently renewed, makes it easier for them to know that you are ordering seeds, if they have a reason to watch you. I will say that like much Marijuana legislation, it's legal in one way, illegal in another.
Take this into consideration. When you buy seeds from Europe, you get them in packs of ten. Unless you are buying some insane amount, very little attention should be brought to you. Ultimately, it isn't against any federal law to buy seeds, and it is not against a federal law to smoke Marijuana. It IS a federal law to buy, sell, or distribute or have on you should someone look in your pockets. If you want to buy seeds in a State that completely bans Marijuana, at some point, you should study the particular laws, becuase it sounds like you plan to break it. I don't know what your goal is...just grow pot for you and your friends, or become a kingpin of your local refer world.
They probably won't track your card, but if you feel nervous, do what bloodshot says and take precautions...any of those Mailbox Inc places are cheap for a mailbox, and they aren't double checking your ID when you sign up for one. Order seeds over the mail with someone else's name. Just do a bit of internet research on the companies before you send out your money order across the globe...you don't want to send two hundred bucks to some fly-by-night scam in the Netherlands that you will never see again because of your fear of a paper trail.
Or just do what I did, move to a legal state, get your papers, and co-op with other growers...

I live in USA and I recently sent cash to 3 different seed companies. 2 of them in Canada and 1 from the U. K. I only sent a small amount of money as a test run. I hope they come through..... Ill keep ya posted

I just recently bought my first seeds online i ordered through Gypsy Nirvana's Seed Boutique. I got my seeds and a free pack of south african durban poison x skunk #1 in 8 days i would and will next time ask for stealth shipping I got mine in little packets with pictures of mature plants on the front just placed into an envelope with a little holder to keep the seeds from being crushed not very stealthy but i didnt ask for stealth shipping very pleased with the speed of delivery. I am in USA

i think it is in the US because this guy Marc Emery might be brought from canada where they really dont care about it to the US where they want to give him life.

but thats also selling the seeds im not sure if its illegal to buy.

When I ordered my seeds I had a friend order them on his credit card and delivered to his house. He simply gave them to me. Nearly impossible to figure out who the end grower is.

I have received my shipment from ALL 3 companies.
Im even about to start flowering my first shipment

Plus think about the total volume of mail coming through customs everyday. While they can and do get caught, You hear waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay more successfully mailed stories than stories of confiscated seeds. My credit card statements don't say maijuana seeds on them. I would be worried about some local snitch ex friend possibly turning you in than customs seizing 5 seeds and then sending cops to your house. Now if the order is a big order that would imply a really big growing operation that would be worth the trouble of persuing it that far I'd be far more worried. I don't think they want to waste time and expense's to go after a guy who ordered 5 seeds. This is just my opinion and could be totally wrong.

But really, ordering seeds online isn't as big a hassle as most people think it is. You have a higher chance of being ripped off by a bunk seed company than you do of any form of authorities coming after you for ordering a couple seeds.

I've ordered twice from 'da tude' with no probs. Fittin on ordering more real soon, to build up a bean stash, cuz ya never know..........but I clone also.

Some people on here are so paranoid. For what? Most of you are not commercial growers. The DEA won't come after you. Especially if you're just learning how to grow. The only way anyone here can get caught is by word of mouth. Being snitched on by someone you know.

I use one of the prepaid credit cards and send them right to my house. If the DEA, the FBI, the NSA or anyone else is worried about my few plants so be it. I only order a few seeds at a time but if I was ordering hundreds of seeds then I would consider sending them to a different location.

If your old enough then you should just get a PO Box and have everything shipped to that... I dont even think you need to give away your address to get one, and you can MAKE an ID with a fake name on it if you want... then you are pretty much untraceable... that is if you live in USA cuz cops and LE here really are assholes and seem to go to any length just to catch petty weed smokers and growers.
