Look for a tracking system. You can only start with seeds or clones from an lp, and they will likely give you plant tags that will need to be attached to the growing plants. No registered tag=illicit. Reused tag = illicit (you will probably need to tell them when you plant a seed, so they will know by planting date).

Then you will need labels corresponding to those tags for any container the herb is in (max number of tags, max weight in a container). Not registered to holder = illicit. Not labeled = illicit. Expired label - illicit. Too much weight in a container = illicit.

Get it? They can do this. They will have a LOT of money coming in from LP sales to fund it.

Hopefully for you guys, they will be as incompetent with that as they are with everything.

Might work for rec, but tens of thousands of mmar patients own their seeds and will be permitted to share up to a zip at a time. Good luck tracking that.

Yeah, I guess everyone will have a mmj card at some point. Still sucks for rec consumers though.

Wasn't talking about mmj. Rec. The tracking system was brought up in the press, not by me. So if you don't have a med card, you still may still need to prove your grow or herb isn't illicit. Herb in a bag and no tracking label = illicit.

no med cards they phased them out years ago.....
they can TRY all they like to come up with a system of control
BUT
They lost out the minute they spoke about legalization...its just going to take them a while to figure it out is all :eyesmoke:

Who is gonna track literally 100k+++ (conservative estimate) legal Rec grows across Canada? They can't even keep track of illegal grows now...what are they gonna do when everyone grows?

I think they're waiting for the legalization legislation to take effect first. I'd be kinda shitty to be legal to grow but not to possess or consume. lol :bigjoint:
Here in sunny Massachusetts USA we have a different problem. We can grow, possess, and consume, but we can't buy (or sell, but we can gift up to an ounce). There are no rec dispensaries open, and there won't be until late 2018 (if then).

We can't even buy seeds or clones legally. But we can grow. Go figure. Personally, my plants came about through immaculate conception. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Fuck it. It's only illegal if you are proven guilty in court. If anyone is really concerned about growing legally, the ACMPR works, it's just a lengthy process. With the ACMPR, adults who want to grow cannabis don't really need legalization, at least not the libtard definition of it.
