Total I have a little over 500 CFL watts on 1 girl.

1-6 bulb t8 fixture (@4100K)
10 -42 watt CFLs (@2700K)

I'll post a pic of the custom grow box lined with mylar which i think made a HUGE difference.
I'll wait another 7-10 days before harvesting. She's a bag seed of something good I had a while back. Had some purple in it. Heavy Sativa. Triches mostly cloudy right now.

She went through an odd 'foxtailing' phase starting a couple weeks back. Somewhat normal from what I have researched. Regardless I use triches to judge harvest, which is very soon.

Any suggestions/questions/comments welcome.

I topped it once, Usually will top twice.

The t8 fixture was a deal I found for about 85$ shipped. Though I ate those savings buying bulbs for it because I didn't research the cost of the bulbs before purchasing the fixture.

CRITICAL - about 5-6 weeks into flowering I had to support a lot of the top branches due to their weight and falling over. I believe supporting your girls in mid-late flowering is critical to a big finish.

Also, every week adjust your lights. Keep em nice and close.

How do you even support the colas from falling over if you arent using a SCROG method.

She sure is a beauty! Definetely took well to all that attention from the CFLS

Grow box is a few cut 2x4's screwed together
box is about 4ft in length 2.5 ft in width
about 4 ft tall

I purchased a roll of mylar for like 20 bucks and just rolled it around the inside of the box with a staple gun.
I also laid a piece on the ground. The fixture above reflects light from above. If you don't have a fixture above to reflect light down I highly suggest placing a mylar top on the box.
I ran 2 small circular fans. Probably should have had 3.

I boxed up all the CFLS. The V-splitters which allow for 2 bulbs in 1 socket are game changers as well.

IMO, mylar makes a huge difference in yields considering how cheap and available it is.

can anyone tell me why some of my buds come out a lime green color and some come out a dark dark green??? they are all from the same girl. I promise.
I think the lime green colors come from the lower nodes, if that helps.

Thanks

I have not made any oils or 'finger hash' - idk what finger hash is. haha
finger hash is that resin that sticks to your fingers and trimmer when your trimming your buds. I use a safety razor the scrape it off my trimmer when it gets too sticky and rub my fingers together to remove it from them. it's just like bubble hash. your link worked for me. interesting splitter.

your link does not work
please provide additional references
Just press your fingers in some paper to get it off and nartule gloves helps too. But people also call it keef, and if you've ever had a grinder you'll know how to deal with it when you harvest your buds. Just don't get rid of it (brush it off because it's sticky and iratating to work with on your fingers. Pure "tris'". There's different ways of making it. But it's pretty much just different methods of harvesting keef or pushing oils out of it by super freezing with co2, or butane. Its pretty much taking it to its base (thc/cbd) It's very simple to make them I'll send some links were I learned how to extract thc/cbd from my buds directly. ( you really need at least a half 0 for any normal amount of dabs).

Probley different lights absorption
From the plant. I have one plant with yellow leaves and dark green. Both sides it's like a mutation. But it's cool nothing wrong with the buds. If I plucked a leave it would come back with dark red vaines down the center and very sarayed leaves. It maybe that are they spongy or dense. The canopy buds may have dominated the bottom buds. But if they're the same try a test after curing them. Some may have had more open air at the top and they got darker (ripe? Maybe) Idk just some ideas I guess.
