I'm having Twins!?!?

I planted 4 HSO lost coast Skunk autos. I know for sure it was 4 because I had a pack of 5, and there's still one seed in the container...
All 4 sprouted, but this morning I was greeted by this coming out of one of the pots!

I've NEVER seen 2 sprouts from 1 seed.

Has anyone ever experienced this phenomenon before?? If yes did you let them both grow?

Lol. Are you going to let THEM grow together or pluck the baby?

When I germ straight to dirt, I always plant two seeds.

Apparently it's not an uncommon thing as a quick Google search has revealed. But it's pretty amazing to think about. I'm assuming they are going to be clones of each other meaning the same phenotype?

Yea that's kool actually I had a seed pop outta the dirt other day and I think it had 2 inside but only one actually came up

I just got two cotyledons side by side ^^ and my girlfriend had the same as yours and she separated them, the smallest took a while to grow , so I'd leave it/them to grow out.. good luck.

They finished a while ago, I let them live together. They did nice! Got about 2 ounces total from them!
You can see the smaller one in the back.

I have seen it a few times. I was able to separate the ones I had.

Two seedlings in one shell. Noice! That's like the only time I'd be proud to announce twins.

Actually the larger one got quite purple while the smaller one stayed mostly green.
Fraternal twins I suppose!

I've had a couple of polyembryonic seeds and they were both autos...Mephisto Skywalkers, but with other types of plants this is fairly common such as Mangoes and Avocados. I have both on my property and they regularly produce these type of seeds.

Fuck yeah. I love a good mango. Avos too. But mainly the mangoes.

I grow some really sweet juicy ones here, and they go perfectly with cannabis.

Yes....I had one seed this year with two sprouts exactly like your picture. Didn't touch it, eventually one shoot failed.
