I'm switching to organics and I don't know what soil to get

Hello growers, I am a hydro guy who want to start growin in soil, I have some questions:
  1. is it true that taste and smell are better for buds grown in soil?
  2. is it true that with super soil I can ph stabilize my soil so I don't have always to check it?
  3. are bottled nutrients labeled as organics really organic?
  4. what is a commercial good soil to start with?
I am looking for a soil to keep my mothers and to flower my clones (right into 12/12), 2 different soils. I need about 8-10 gal of soil, not too much.

Biggest problem is I live in EU and I can't find a lot of ingredients locally, nor on the internet. If I find em they are incredibly pricy and from different stores.

Can I link the store I usually buy from so you can see what I can get?

You could mix your own soil. Do something like Coco coir, compost, perlite, vermiculite, and mineral dust. Maybe some coco chips or Pine bark chips too. If you use peat instead of Coco (which i don't recommend) then mix in some dolomite lime as well.
Top it off with coco chips and long fibers for a mulch.
Recycle your soil. Don't throw it out. Just add some compost and dry fertilizers and you are good to go.

I would recommend not using bottled liquid organics. Use some, like liquid seaweed.. but a dry organic fertilizer is the way to go. Mix it in at planting and then if need be top dress around week 3 of flower. Work it under the mulch layer.

Organics is easy.. correct, no need to check ph. A well balanced soil blend doesn't need it.

You could start with about..
4 parts coco coir
3 parts compost
1 part perlite
1 part vermiculite
1 part coco chips
Mineral dust by label rate
complete organic fertilizer by label rate
a little castings
maybe a little bat guano

If you wanna get crazy you can add some extras like..
biochar
neem cake
pumice
paramagnetic rock dust
mychorrizae
bene fungi and bacteria (good compost will have it though)
EM (bacteria)
LAB (lactobacilus)
etc.. etc..

start there.. water it in and see how it drains.

Imo, most MJ growers overdo the drainage. They LOVE their lightning fast drainage, at times to a fault.
I like a soil with good moisture retention, personally.

1. Generally, if the grower knows what they're doing Yes, the buds smell and taste a lot better.

2. Yes this is true. The Soil will hold on to a certain amount of Cations giving you a certain ph depending on what and how much you put in your soil.

3. No

4. There isn't one. A good soil to start with would be your own. This way your assured to have a good balanced consistent mix.

Thanks a lot!
You don't mean to mix your ingredients with a base soil but to use them straight as they are, am I right?
I do not compost at home so I don't know where to find it, gonna ask someone.
(EDIT: with "compost", do you mean an universal organic fertilizer? which npk ratio?)
I also can't find anything from label rate...

I can get coco, perlite, vermiculite.
In powder form I can get: fish powder(4-5-1), palm tree(0-3-14), seaweed(0.5-2-0), bat guano or a complete fert (2-5-3).
+bone meal, epsom salts, mineral phosphate

Ocean Forest or Roots Organic
Crab Shell, Fish Ferts
Sea bird guano if you need to complicate things.
Done

Very simple. It can get complicated on mj forums. But organics is very simple.

Don't worry about rock dust and silly stuff like that you will be in another world before it will ever break down in a container.

In EU roots organics and ocean forest are not available

Canna terra professional is great, I love it. I can put cuttings straight into it, and it's pretty rich with veg nutes to last a while.
Needs liquid supplements for flower though, or sometimes I'll mix some flower bat guano in when I transplant up.

Hello growers, I am a hydro guy who want to start growin in soil, I have some questions:
I'm switching to organics and I don't know what soil to get
  1. is it true that taste and smell are better for buds grown in soil? Yes no magnetic clink feeling in your mouth
  2. is it true that with super soil I can ph stabilize my soil so I don't have always to check it? Yes the same with all natural soils
  3. are bottled nutrients labeled as organics really organic? only in the america, ask yourself what the preservative is first
  4. what is a commercial good soil to start with? in the Eu, anything marked as good for tomatoes and labeled organic
good luck
