IMPORTANT Does Less Ingredients Also Mean Less Cooking Time At The Exact Same Ratio?

This question addresses a huge concern of mine. I have been cooking with shake, trim, bud, you name it for a while but i haven't been able to get a truely professional answer to this question.

I'm eager to try out the cannabutter recipe from the pot tv show "shake and bake with cici the tapdancing chef", but at the moment i don't have access to (and can't afford) the 4 oz of bud used on the show. I'm going to cut the butter down to a level which corresponds to the amount of bud i'll be using. However, does this mean i should cut down the cooking time corresponding to that ratio?

For example, i will be using more than this but, if i were to use an eighth of bud and cut down the time corresponding to 1/32 (an eighth is 1/32 of 4 oz) of the time it took to simmer the mixture (5 hrs) after it has started to boil and from when the temperature is lowered from a medium heat to a low heat (as shown on the show), i would only be letting the mixture simmer for about 10 minutes.

Would this still be successful in regard to doses? I.E, if i used a dime per brownie or cookie, would using this process yield 7 successfull doses each with the same potency as the 224 dime brownies the mixture on the show would have produced?

PLEASE REPLY PROMPTLY AS I WILL BE COOKING VERY SOON

Also i was wondering what your take on fat levels in oil and butter is. I have purchased strauss european butter and peanut oil for my edibles because they have more fat by volume in them than olive/vegetable oil or normal inorganic butter. Do you believe using these products will increase potency?

Also, i'm wondering what you guys think of POTKA. POTKA is pot put into a jar with everclear and shaken. All of the recipes i've looked at for alcoholic weed drinks have suggested that the weed sits in the alcohol for a long period of time. The POTKA recipe suggests that it can be completed in 5 to 10 minutes! the POTKA does involve a higher concentration of alcohol (94%) than other drinks such as the green dragon (which usually involves vodka). However, drinks like the green dragon suggest that the pot should be left in the alcohol for weeks. Being that i have a limited amount of time to make this, i was wondering if you could touch on the validity of the POTKA theory.

Thank you so much!
