I wonder if they will grandfather the old MMAR people with their amounts because as most of you are saying, if they try to reduce your plant count/grams a day when a doctor has already prescribed that...then there will be many thousands of Canadians who'll fight that one thing in court. That's what John Conroy as well as Jason Wilcox have said. Plus they still have the $300,000 that was raised for the last battle because they won court costs and didn't have to use it up. There is a fund available to fight plant count reductions if the feds try to pull that one. Would you guys agree with me or disagree? I'll certainly be calling John Conroy and the other famous lawyer Kirk... forget his last name for the moment....I've been staying off of this forum because I'm so stressed out about what they'll actually do. As I kept reading posts here, I was finding myself in really low moods and that's not me...we'll see what happens but please get ready to fight guys. You guys have so much fighting spirit in you. It's amazing!

lucky? please let me know how having to use that much is lucky?? i don't see it as lucky if you need that much to function.
i know of a guy who has a script for 300 a day...he has MS, constant pain and in a wheelchair. is he lucky? if it was a scam and he made $$, i would say he's lucky but the patients who have that high of a grammage should be pretty messed up.
when you get that high of numbers, you are not smoking it. who could? if you filter your oil, you can get a really good product and about 30g per pound. if you take only 1 g a day that's 15 g a day of herb. that's not even smoking anything so someone on a gram a day will use over 20 a day easily. smoking it-that would kill your lungs.

You're confused. I'm not saying its right or acceptable. But whenever anybody talks about plant count, the magic number is somewhere between 3-10. You're forgetting that I keep saying I don't agree with it. But the mmpr cats would be happier than pigs in shit to grow six plants. And so would some mmar patients. If most patients are happy, then they'll tell the unhappies to fuck off.

Six hundred small plants that you would probably pull an ounce or less off.

And it's not even about that, it would still be a lot of work.

I meant getting a dr to write a script for 100g a day was lucky not having a sickness or disease which requires such a script is lucky.
I would have thought some of you would have known me better by now then to think I need condescending lessons.
I've been in the mj world for awhile now and have a family member with one of these large scripts. In fact I know for sure we've talked about it before you and I.
Anyway I'm not here to argue with anyone or spray paint your rainbows of optimism

I get that you don't agree that 3-10 is acceptable. I just don't listen to a bunch of greed-bags who are trying to put a positive spin on what is a huge blow to their industry. The LP's are squirming and trying to get investor $$ before they tank. Restricting plant counts to a ridiculously small number isn't going to pass the smell test with Phelan and will be struck down as HC is not authorized to set dosage. Add in that my condition has worsened and I may require even more than my 10g/day. How is the average patient going to supply their needs, which is what the case was about, with 3 plants? Might be the case for rec, but not mmj, imo.
I guess we'll see what happens in 3 weeks...no sense stressing till then. bongsmilie

you'll never understand the ideas from people who cant comprehend being sick and what it takes to stay healthy in some regard.

The ones who complain the most about script amounts are the ones who should really STFU and learn something instead of putting something down they dont understand.

I have a ticket for 34 outdoor in summer and 128 indoors during winter...I grow 20 outside...not set up for indoors....even with only 20, I need help to run the yard...friends help me for free....without their help my plants would suffer...they know me and my probs well...so they donate a few hours weekly for kikin' buckets and buckin' out the inside growth for ventilation....just how my yard works....;))
