"input grades" bullshit or what? CYCO vs Jacks

CYCO claims to use Pharmaceutical Grade inputs only, is the same for Jacks and does it even really matter as long as there aren't heavy metals or other unwanted contaminants? Kinda confused here on what is actually better or if its just marketing.

For me, as long as the salts are clean, that's the important thing and that's easy to check for ourselves, we don't need to rely on company marketing telling us what to think. They don't even say where they buy their salts...even Advanced says that they've used Haifa salts for 20+ years. I wouldn't be surprised if Jack's, Gen Hydro, Athena, and the other popular Cannabis salts (that test low/bdl in heavy metals) all buy from the same company.

All the ingredients come from the same fertilizer factories. AN, Jacks, Cyco, GH, etc... all purchase the ingredients in bulk and mix them. Some use food grade as many of the ingredients are also used in food production. But those still come from the same factories as well.

Haifa, Yara, Mosaic, etc...

Is the idea of "clean" only searching for heavy metals? Wouldn't there be other things to be concerned of? When testing are you just mixing into water then sending into a facility to test what's in it?
