Hello my fellow growers i just started a small grow in my house and i just wanted to get some input on what you think of the whole idea.

okay my grow is cfl but because of roomates and other problems this is the only way i can grow.I have 2 plants about 1 week old sitting under a windowsill, also has 2 42w 2700k (matching the sun's cycle)on them they have been on 12/12 (because its harvest time right now so the sun is in 12/12)from seed and i was just trying to see whats other ppl thought about the idea they get full sun and cfl 12 hours a day

right thats what i thought i have a 600w hps and plenty more cfl lights and everything its just a matter of stealthness because imy house is getting sold and there is always realators are coming over looking at the place when im not home so i was just trying to grow a 2 small bonzi's or something if i had the space and could actully use my cabnet I'd be in good shape but whateva i guess i move unless i could figure out how to set up my cabinet in my celler but i would need to control the temp. during the lights off cycle im in northern va. and its going to start getting cold.but idk if anyone has any comments plezz post

How many watts do you think are needed for 1 bonzi plant with a decent yeild.i mean i know bonzi isnt going to yeild much of anything but i just want to grow something for the fuck of it.i cant wait til i move and i have the privacy to setup my cabinet.but life goes on.

Yep, more is better when it comes to light. Can't beat ol Sol for efficiency and ecomomy. I was thinking about taking my babies out in the sun til the evening then bringing them in to go under the HID lights (when they get bigger). That would cut down on the utility bill too.

you will need at least 150 W of CFL... not equivilent. but actual wattage... it would actualy be cheaper to buy a HPS than buy a bunch of 42W CFLs. and when they all die.. you have to buy them all over again...
