Check out my 3 Amare threads. Pretty sure you guys will see they are no joke! I invested in a full out Amare Pro-4 room recently from a 8K HPS room. I don't play & bought what I thought was best for me after tons of research & experience.
I hope this helps.
I love how hybrid gets called a promoter and a fanboy. He's just giving us the cold hard results from his investments. Thanks for sharing hybrid

I can't believe this shit continues to go on and on and on and on. There is no light out there that uses this amount of quality of parts and material. That may take a minute to think about but as these comparisons continue, break down plc and Amare. Or a Johnson and an Amare. My favorite that should never be compared the erectorset and Amare. Once you figure that the cobs are not just siliconed to a heatsink like I have heard about others and you actually break down a light to see what exactly is inside you will see that a lot of these claims about Amare being overpriced is nothing but utter bullshit.

The most important part which hubrid mentioned is photosynthetic efficiency. I have no idea how to measure that lol but I do understand what he means. I haven't been here much lately but have continued to do side by sides and the Amare has beat out the plain cobs grow after grow. Something I shouldn't even mention is I have spent the last 6 months working on my own products. I have just about 50k invested and 36k in stock currently and guess what, the Amares are still hanging in my room. My original timber kit is actually over my veggies indoors run at 50% because it has no place in my room. Heatsinks reach 140 degrees and my plants don't compare.

The point is the complete package, parts, quality and amount of parts, warranty, customer service, additional parts such as quality hangers and ratchets, lenses and lense holders even the packaging on Amare is better. Add all that up and you will see which company is out there for the money as this one sure as shit isn't.

45 days ago I put a few seeds in the dirt under my amares. Hybrid if your gonna bring my name up make sure you get the facts straight. I didn't pull 1.5 I pulled 1.62 Lol It's nice to see you still helping others out in this crazy lighting market. image.jpgimage.jpg
not 45 days in flower 45 days from seed.

No one still can find the wattage the cobs. That's funny.

Sorry buddy but that's just advertising. Se450 uses 6 cxb 3070. That's not nearly enough PPFD for a 4x4 let alone 4.5x4.5. I'd love to see a full cycle in a 4x4 of that inefficient light.....that's about the same as marss bullshit
Sorry Dude I run a 4 X 4 Secret Jarden tent and run a Single SE-450 in it sans the lenses because I don't have the height in it and I will burn the tops of my plants. So I am sure you are saying that is BS... Well here you go...

Ok member since today. Join the amare club. Have fun flowering 450 watts in a 4.5x4.5. Make a grow log I want to see this. I use 16 cxb 3590 to flower in a 5x5. The 3590 are 20% more efficient at that wattage than the 3070. I'm pushing 800ppfd which is a little on the light side. That se450 will very poorly flower the space amare is trying to push. You're a new member so it's typical
Total BS Dude.... Got hundreds more pics.... Take your ball and go home!

So far I have only grown outdoors because nothing will ever beat out the sun, but in my area climate can change dramatically (bad for plant life).
This is why I'm starting to look into LED's and indoor.
@BM9AGS How about some info on any better panels or some type of rebute rather than just trashing everyone.
I would love some conflicting comparisons and info. I am obviously here for advice.
I also don't intend on totally trusting advertisements.
These amare lights do have great reviews and at least one great grow journal that was just shared with me.
Dude Google the " White Light Revolution" it may help you find the answers you seek.

The SE-450 will easily produce 1 - 1.75 #'s in a 4'x4'. That's matching 600 watt plain cob fixtures in the same space. Fact.
They say they get 1.5 GPW. W/ their plain cobs, But where's the evidence, all the while Amare grows are showing n proving everywhere you look. And we don't count Flarf, n popcorn like those fooletos.
