Intake & Exhaust ends too close?

Right now im expelling my mostly filtered exhaust into my vented attic space. Ive rencently decided that i need a an intake for my room but the only place to get the air from is that same attic space that my exhaust runs to. Now, i have my exhaust pointing directly at the opening about 2' away. I was planning on putting the Intake about 4' to the left of the exhaust and probably even closer to the opening.

Just wondering if anyone thinks this is a bad idea to have these so close to one another?

Well, you dont want to intake your exaust.....why dont you add some ducting to your exaust closer to a roof vent. That way it is fully exausted out of your attic and the space you intake from.
