I'd like to see some cree PCBS like EcoSunLite uses in their fixtures. Reds and blues and whites that you could just mount on a heatsink. Just like timber is doing with reds. NOBODY sells them.

I may be among the minority on this suggestion... Higher CRI rated CREE diodes like the CXB3590 3500k 90min cri.

One of your competitors does not usually stock the 90min cri CXB3590 3500k. For those serious about buying the highest cri ratings you can make the option on a "Case by case" thing where they need to contact you before placing an order.

    CD bin

select "choose an option" and you'll see binning for each color

@robincnn leads, everybody else follows

That's not better, just different. You aren't running 150W on a passive sink without spending serious cash.

I know somebody who would be happy to find a DIY distributor in the US ;)

Not to be a pessimist, but your CREE CXB3590s you are selling for $44.00 are selling for ~$33 elsewhere. Is there something else you are providing with the chips that I'm not seeing?

Glad you got your banner status worked out.
Its nice to see that you actually considered my suggestions on the other post regarding pre fab diy frame kits.

Ya cred to @HydroRed for suggesting frames. That's a good idea. That'd be something you'd pre make or build custom to order? Would angle aluminum even be used? I'm interested.

no need to be cryptical, link it up so people can take advantage. Mine are $40 after RIU discount btw....i may discount them more we'll see. i dont have many cree left and are prob moving away from them, stocked for convenience more than anything and selling them close to cost (which was more than $33). good to see the crees coming down in price though...competition benefits us all

they'lll be standard. still experimenting with different angle profiles in my own builds

sorry @HydroRed , i bought a big bandsaw weeks ago in preparation :) great minds must think alike

the idea was born out of a guy i sold some cobs and heatsinks to... I was talking him thru it, and he was like "i dont have a drill". I felt so bad i built him a simple rack and sent it with the cobs and heatsinks mounted
