Just ordered from them last week. Fat shipping. I emailed them about a question on the diver I ordered. Responded back quickly with additional information. I also, like an idiot, ordered the wrong heatsinks for the cobs I bought. They emailed me asking if that was a mistake seeing what I ordered and they corrected it. Ordered on Thursday, received on Tuesday. Great customer service and fast shipping.

yay! i try to identify mismatches and work thru em. nobody needs a box of parts that dont match - thats like christmas toys with no batteries!

i had an exciting visit to a new friends place last night, they have lots of space and a fair collection of gear but are using none of it effectively. going to be a great case study, above and beyond the limited time and space i can do myself. will report back as it develops

seemed to evaporate. latest cree news was that @welight was supposed to be getting some improved lower voltage cxbs but i dont think he ever got as far as getting an actual part number to order. i wonder if those will evaporate as well

seems like cree has all but abandoned cobs with their recent market strategies. shame because their blue dies were excellent

Shame, not that I'm a cree guy but it would of been nice to see what these crazy folks would do with something like that. Lets see what the future brings :bigjoint:

Hi guys, I'm trying to build some highbay styles cob lights, I sourced the meanwell hbg-60-1050 from onlinecomponents but, I'm having problems getting the heatsink moduled mega, cdi seems to have the market cornerd in the US on the Megas but never have any in stock,
@CobKits on your 133m pin, I see some small screw holes, do you know if I can fit M5 10mm screws?
Also, I see you have some very nice light engines on your site, do you sell them star style heatsink separately?
Thanks,

yeah anywhere close to the corner is fine dont sweat it too much. just make it the same on the other sides so it hangs straight
