resin production has more to do with the strain then anythings. and this early in the game the thc content of your plant is next to nothings. just keep the humidity around 60% during veg, and drop it to 40-50 during flowering and youll be fine. until you start seeing a lot of bud production, dont worry about bud rot. just makes sure never to put them to bed wet

that is very true, but dry weather will make the plant produce more resin, than very humid weather regardless of the strain, probably not a noticeable difference but still, the strain is the most important, and you got white widow farmer joe, so you should have some decent weed regardless of the resin production. THC production in WW is rumoured around 25%, where as most strains are around 10-15%

Is it possible to take all the bud off your plant, leave it on 12/12 and flower it again?
I read about regeneration I think i'll try it but just thought id ask this too.

usually, growers that use "regeneration" will leave all the small underdeveloped "popcorn" nugs on the plant and then switch the lights to 18+ hours a day. It can take 7-20 days for a plant to start growing agin (vegetative cycle)... it is allowed to grow for 4-8 weeks and then switched back to 12/12....

if you just leave a female plant in 12/12... it will eventually produce MALES FLOWERS... yikes!!!!1

i have a friend who has tried to regen his plant and it failed. i suggest cloning and growing from clone instead of revegging

ok guys cheers might just do that, will i get more yield than cutting if i manage to regenerate properly? is it quicker'( im just trying to get as much out the plant before i throw it away) i wont be doing continious growing so when i stop i want to have as much as possible.

Hi Farmer

regenerating the plant will allow you to get more BUDs from your original plant.. but it would be faster to clone the plant and grow the clone to maturity..

You need to leave greenery on the plant when you regenerate it.. or it will likely die...

cheers

Yes.. usually... unless you grow your cuttigs HUGE....
It takes a plant 2 weeks just to snap out of the flowering stage and back into the vegetative stage.. then you have to let the plant grow for a couple weeks... at least...

And a regenerated plant will not yield as much as clone grown to the same size.. :)

excelent ill do that ill do a couple of cuttings instead, so with the rest of the plant after bud and cuttings are taken, can i do anything else can i make hash or smoke some of the remains of the plant while the buds cure? seems a bit of a waste! oh they are both girls and flowering niceley. a few of the leaves at the bottom have gone yellow and fallen off(rest of plant perfect) is this normal?
ive not really been giving them regular ferts just some cannaboost for flowering, should i stop or maybe just carry on?

during flowering should i have the light higher to cover more of the plant with light? or the closer the better?
do the buds like it a bit cooler?
cheers,

aye ok doing that , moved them to about 6 - 9 " away, quite close for hps with no extractor but i'm in there every half hour turning them creating my little "sun cycles" only thing is, is that for every one day i turn it about three times so its really having 3 days of sunlight in these 12 hours. I wonder if this is having a good effect for the harvest? hmmmm , but they are cool and dont get heat stress when im in about them all day. but if i were to leave them all day they would burn(as has earlier happend) so as long as i keep 'em moving theyll be fine i think, but buds are growing bigger and smelling. all over the stalk we got buds growing, I cant toutch the stem anymore too many buds with the starting of many little sparkily crystals! ( i suppose I shouldn't complain about that really) but getting closer all the time. i'm now in flowering week 3 i think. so just about halfway i think. looking forwar to it.
I cant get a good fone pic to show you as usual but when they are a bit bigger ill take some fotos of the buds.
cheers

Ya moving them around will definatly help with heat and yeild thats why they made light movers. :) Your doing good but if you leave for a prolonged period you may want to raise the light temporarily which you probably do you havnt came off as incompitant so.. ya your GOLDEN!!!

thank you. I do raise it now after the first time of going away. i think im on my way to a good little crop, not sure how much but i think it wont be on the small side for two plants worth.

Ive just switched the lights on to 11 light, 13 hours darkness and ill switch it down again in a couple of weeks, and so on till about 8 hours i think it will be a more natural/realistic methode like the change of the season. im not sure what effect it will have, I think it will come to harvest a bit quicker?
anyone know?
