Is a Cfl better then a blurpy L.e.d. for veg?

Hey folks hows it going...

I have a 3x3 tent with a decent size Chinese blurpie light. Plants are 1 month from seed and they are really short, bushy, and the nodes are extremely close together. they are indica and there is zero stretch going on with these girls. My light is way more red then blue so i'm guessing that's why so short... Would I be better off using my cfl's for veg then switching back to the l.e.d. in flower?

maybe add some cfl's to the led's?

I thought about it but i wondered if it would be too much light for such young plants. I seen a youtube video that talked about how too much light can slow growth.

raise em if its too hot, but no worries of too much light I think. My one month old plants have been under 5k (hid)light in the flower room with no issues.

I’m mixing cfl’s, a blurpie, & modified led bulbs. I’m happy with what I’m seeing.
