Is a Mixed Spectrum of LED's better blooming?

I use pretty much all red spectrum LED's for flower only. I use blue spectrum cfl's for vegging. Will I get better results flowering, by adding blue spectrum Led along with my existing red for flowering? Or should I add even more red spectrum led's for better flowers?

mo lite mo better.

More spectrums the better.. I mix 60/40 (more reds) when flowering with great results.

It seems to me that including 40 percent blue spectrum during flower would be beneficial.

I am steering clear of DIY led. I prefer name brand led's. I am considering some more blue spectrum dominant led panels to add to my existing red dominant ones.

You also need some green and amber. Imo 420 blue slows growth 460 blue is good. I would add a bunch of whites too. Green helps to absorb more photons in other areas..

It's interesting that you want name brand LEDs but are steering clear of DIY. Most manufacturers don't even say what brand they are using of LEDs and I don't know of any that tell you the bins (which is really what tells you the quality of the LED). Cree manufactures excellent LEDs as a whole but even they accidentally manufacture some shit ones...it's just that if you know what bin you are buying, you don't buy the poor, off-spectrum, inefficient ones.

You should get better flowering with some blue...and I would get there with some white LEDs so that you add some other potentially useful portions of the spectrum at the same time...and/or you could just add some of those blue CFLs in there to get you there too..which would be no additional cost which is mighty handy.
