Is Bagseed underrated???

Sup everyone, I'm new to growing but I consider myself a fast learner. I was just wondering whether bagseed is underrated or not. I understand that you can engineer the genetics of plants, but is bagseed that much crapier? Thanks and any answers will be appreciated.

well I guess that depends on the "bag" you got it from. If it is crappy weed then most likely it's gonna grow crappy weed.

Are you thinking of growing some bagseed or something?

It's a waste of time, Like the other guys said it's a crapshoot. You never know what you're going to get. My last grow was from some fire-ass mid seeds and 3/4 of the plants turned out to be males or hermies. I'd rather just spend the money on good seeds and know what i'm getting.

it all just depends really...it is a crapshoot..i am in my 2nd week of flowering 4 plants ..they are all from bagseed...and i am almost positive ive got 4 of 4 females...which is very unlikely..but anything is possible with bagseed....i was on a low budget so i just went for it to expirement..my next grow i will have feminized white widow and feminized big bud.....good luck

the fact that they are bagseed does not determine how many males or females you will get, where the fuck did this come from!?

Also bagseed could be any strain you can possibly think of. CRAPPY WEED DOES NOT EQUAL CRAPPY PLANTS...Just because its brickweed and it was compressed and driven around in some really shitty conditions doesnt mean the plant they came from had bad genetics, the bud could have been good before it was compressed and shipped, and who knows how they even dried that shit.

aaaannnnyways. bagseed is very underated, fuck ive gotten a seed or two in some of the best weed ive ever smoked which happened to be some kush.

Bagseeds are just as good as any other seeds, only problem is you dotn know the strain so you have no idea how long its going to flower, how much its gonna stretch, what kinda nutes its gonna like, etc.

im currently growing 3 plants from a seedbag of bagseeds i collected :D, all look totally different :D cant wait...i love growing

never said that just because i got lucky with females was because it was from bagseed...my opinion on this topic is the same as yours "stopwhining"...that its just a crapshoot..you have endless chances...youll never know what it will be till its grown..

Yeah but if your growing from some bagweed that had a lot of seeds in it, there's a good chance it's a hermie. My last grow over half, of what i thought, were females turned out to be hermies. Don't waste your time on bagseed like that. NOw if you find one stray seed in some bomb-ass weed than yeah go ahead and grow it.

for the record, most of the seeds i planted from crappy ol bagseed turned out to be males or hermies

i gotta say, though, the two i have left are doing great, and they are only halfway through flowering :hump:

Yeah. I gotta agree. All the years I have been growing (off and on for 15) I have used bagseed. It has only been this year that I even realized that I could order seeds online and so I did last week. I'm really looking forward to getting the selection.

Of all the plants that actually had the chance to come to fruitation, all of them were from a friend who smokes good stuff.

Right now I have 5 plants growing, all of them unknowns BUT it is some really good kick-ass sh*t.
I kid you not!
I had 7 plants, one male and one got knocked off the deck by my cat.

Don't rule out bagseed. Plus its such a fun surprise to get all different types of highs from unknowns strains.

Just my opinion. Its not a right or wrong question. Below are some pics of my beautiful unknowns from bagseed. But then again, I ONLY smoke really good stuff so perhaps my chances are better than average. :blsmoke:

Im gonna start growin again in a lil while and im gonna be using bagseed. I have a small jar with about 30 seeds i collected over the past couple months and theres all different kinds of weed in there lol, nothin 2 special though. Bagseed definetly isnt gonna be as good as ordered white widow seeds and shit but itll get u thru the day if ur broke like i am right now. As long as u take care of the plants and treat em good they should turn out allright, im guessing my seeds have the potential to have thc content from 5%-12%, with 1 or 2 seeds in the bunch going up to around 15%.

Yeahhhhhh! I think that is a lot of the excitement. Not knowing what it is going to be like but waiting. It's kind like being a kid again and waiting for Christmas only BETTER!!!
I have 5 plants and 4 of them are toally different. Only two look similar. So far it is all killer weed. No complaints here.
