Is calmag something I should be using?

Currently I'm just using general hydroponics 3 part nutrient system and some bennoes to deal/prevent root rot was thinking about calmag seen lots of peoplesaying they were using it. I was wondering what the pro and cons of using calmag are????

When I had the GH dry nutrient line I purchased Cal/Mag and used it frequently, soil and hydro.
