Is it getting to hot?

Ok, so i'm growing in a grow cabinet and I just added 9 CFL's all 26 Watt. 6 Cool White and 3 Warm White. I'm currently veg'ing 2 plants. The temperature has spiked up to 79-83 degrees is that to hot for the plants. I have a fan blowing on them. Also the whole cabinet has a flat black background which probably doesn't help... if someone could point me in the direction of some cheap mylar

not bad at all, i get in the 50's at night and mid 80's with 6 26w's on, youll be ok

83 is starting to get alittle to hot. paint the in side of the cab flat withe and it should drop the temps a bit.

i would say a little hot.. for mylar go to wal mart in the camping section and get some emergency blankets or i just discovered some wrapping paper made of mylar.... very cheap right now its like 2 bux for 15sq ft
