Is it possible or a Dream...

hello, i have a few problems i would like to set up my remaing room and living room, i have the dryer plug to use and also the stove, is there any easy way to plug 1000w ballasts to them or do i have to build some adapter box and add sockets? also my controle panel is in my down stairs neighbour house....do i abandon all hope?

well if u have a quad power ballast. meaning inside when you open it up there will be a bunch of wires all marked different power ratings 120v which goes into a regular wall socket up to 340v. regardless you need to get a dryer/stove extension cord. take the ground wire and hook it to the green wire on the cord then take the white/common wires and match them/ hook them together then the most important thing is the 220v wire which connects to the black wire on the cord. all dryer/stove plugs are 220v which is alot of power enough to kill ur ass so be carefull!!!!!!!!!!!!
