Is molasses enough?

my babies are, I believe, 2 weeks into flowering and most of the bottom fan leaves have or are dying. Since they began flowering I've given them 2 tbls molasses per gallon of water each week.
What id like to know is if this molasses diet is enough to sustain them through flowering or are all the leaves dying away because of nute def?

I would probably say that its a nute def. I havnt heard of anyone trying to flower off molasses alone. Hope that helps

yea man, molasses is to just help dense up the nugs, you still need a little nitrogen but phosphorus is the main nutrient plants look for during flowering

well.... seems ive made quite a mistake then..
so could anyone give me a suggestion for some cheap bloom nutes
I dont have much to work with so a homemade concoction would be nice
I also have a compost but I think I need an immediate nute boost because now... well she looks sad

Check the organic growing section. I bet somebody there will have some kind of home tonic thing going on.

I think it's just too much molasses, too much molasses will block the roots from being able to take in nutrients, therefore your plant looks like it has a nute deficiency when it infact is a little to much molasses. I think its 1 tbl per gallon max dose so just step down to that and you should be ok. Goodluck! =)

look for a jacks classic dealer around your home. Then get the blossom booster. It's like 5 bucks, and will do the job.

NO molasses alone will not thrive MJ it's just an add on I would suggest you buying some Bloom nutes for the flowering phase. Get some Bio Bizz Bloom thats is some great stuff that will produce donkey dick buds

Check out BGhyrdo for some nute selections

Good Luck

As others have said, molasseses itself isn't enough, but the fan leaves yellowing and dieing is a normal process during flowering. I personally have not used any ferts during my process, but I am growing in the ground, not in pots.
