what is all this garb ...... look man put a fan on the poor thing and the stem will fatten up get a paper clip and stick one end in the dirt while wrapping the other end around the stem (not tight but good enough to keep the plant upright) put your fan on it and bam it will fatten up if you have an ocilating fan that would be better but any fan will work.. I dont know what all this crap is about cut it and bury it deeper ... B.S. put a fan on it

It's not crap. You want a bushy, short young plant. It is stretched. He needs to fricken bury it, the stem will be used as root, and his plant will grow into a nice bush.A fan is fine, as it's growing, but when you have a top heavy plant like that,it's likely to topple.A paperclip can cut into the tender stem. But whatever. I just...find one of fdd's grow threads and go ask him now.Or better yet, pm him with a link to your thread. All your getting is conflicting info, and it will confuse you.

Plant up to cotyledons (round leaves)... get a fan to strengthen stem..not right at it but deflected air.... water once every 3-4 days... no nute till 4th week and start at 1/4 strength... two things kill baby plants. too much, water/nutes... luck.

stoney and twisty are right

and the packing of soil soil does not cause damping of f[stem root]

it is caused by too moist and no air movement, this is why i donot understand

why peeps use humity tents for seedling

also i nute my kids when first set of leaves come out [not round]

but since you are a noob and prolly dont have good nutes STICK TO TWISTY ADVIVE
