Is taking clones from autos worth it?

I have a couple of auto flowers growing I’m wondering if it’s worth my time to take cuttings from them and if they’ll grow

I planted a branch that broke off of my Royal Dwarf Auto. It stunted it really bad. I've harvested the mother about 2 weeks ago and this branch still has white Pistles.

So I say no.

3" pot.

You can totally do it.
Cloning some autos won't amount to much. You have to clone before bud set.
I've had success with certain strains, cloning before bud set, feeding with veg formula, and keeping under 24/0. The trick is to get roots in 5-7 days. If this isn't something you can do fairly regularly dont even bother. They won't grow as big as the mother but I've harvested an oz-oz 1/4 off a cloned auto. The mother got 5oz
The other factor is you need to be able to get them going without any hiccups whatsoever. Super ideal environment so it can veg fast before it buds.
Now, I've also cloned some an got enough weed to almost fill a 1 1/4 paper .... So there's that.
