I have it supplementing my HPS atm. I'm not going to lie, its helping out a lot.

The COB looks very nice, but entry fee is prohibitive compared to a T5 cluster (4 or 8 bulbs). It really depends on the size of the grow. If I would to start all over, I probably would stick with T5s for seedlings and veg, but instead of HPS, I would move to COB tech.

I did get near a lbs of good exodus kush 'vegging' with T5s *edit* from that plant.

F strips would rock that T5 fixture off the shelf !![/QUOTE]Sorry to butt in with a completely irreverent bit of input but need your opinion badly. Did you keep your exodus kush or did you buy cuttings? I just ran 6 exo kush and took cuts from all of them Evan though they fem beans what’s your view on keeping feminised seed mothers or did you just buy your cuts. I got mad variation from the 6 I ran! They were so different I couldn’t believe it all in the same room as well. I’m new to fem seeds and get mixed views and info on keeping mothers of them, some say it’s strain dependant what’s your view please
Thanks

I'm currently using my viparspectras as side lighting and there's 3 daisy chained together but not hanging stood up on 3 stools pointing at my babies the main light is a maxibrigt 600w hps and a cmh either side of the 600. works really well great yield rock hard fruits from the 3 different types of light. viparspectras are great for everything apart from week 2 onwards of flowering there just isn't enough red spectrum. if you do use viparspectras stick a low watt hps in there or some red cfls if heat is an issue. if not bang them in as side lights I wownt look back they really do penetrate the lower canopy. I know this thread is old but could not help myself.....
